Audiences are often defined by GEARS, G standing for gender.
Having looked at the BFI exit polls of films screened to audiences of some 150
people I notice that films involving action and moderate levels of violence
skewed towards a male audience. I think our film trailer will be evenly split between a male and female audience.
I think it is likely that my audience will be predominantly
under 35’s. There I and so I would aim to put my tailer before films like Saw,
